Khiladi Full Movie Story And Reviews
Khiladi is Ravi Teja’s latest upcoming movie which has come out on 11 February 2022. Read our review to find out if the film has any juice in it or not.
A local minister decides to contest for the post of CM. For this purpose, he receives money worth 10000 crores. But somehow a conman named Mahatma Gandhi(Ravi Teja) steals it with a proper plan. But later, he gets into a lot of trouble for it as some big names also get involved. How will Gandhi manage all these issues with his team is the story.
Roles like these are a cakewalk for Ravi Teja. He is superb in his role and has solid swag in many scenes. He dominates the other cast and does an impressive job. Arjun as the cop is silly. He just sleepwalks in his role and is made to look over the top. Anasuya gets a good role and she has two phases and does a proper job. Murali Sharma and Vennela Kishore do not have much to do in the film. Dimple Hayathi is hot and is a treat for the masses. Meenakshi Chowdary gets a meaty role but she could not carry it due to her inexperience.
Khiladi is a crime thriller about a con artist and how he treats everyone around him. His story is given a new angle through some comedy in the first half. This is shown well through the roles of Anasuya and Murali Sharma.
But the actual twist comes during the interval block and is quite good. The manner in which it is also unleashed is very good and sets things right for the second half. From there, things fall like a pack of cards and do not make any sense.
Ravi Teja goes after the 10000 crores and this is brought out through so many twists. The film has so many twists that do not engage the audience. In fact, they irritate them after a point. You don’t know what is coming as the situation and the whole setup look super silly.
The songs are good and DSP should be appreciated. But the writing is water-thin and does not give any scope for Ravi Teja to create a damage control.
